Premise of Rock Your Commute blog
For those of us who are lucky enough to have a job these days, we are willing to part with an average of 24.3 minutes of our lives getting there and back each day. It is obvious to anyone that those minutes are deducted from your life directly, and there is evidence that the resulting stress that most commuters face is charging you for indirects as well. I could, and probably will someday elaborate the problem further, but for now it can suffice to say that commuting, to most of us, is a necessary evil. You can't control a lot of things about it, like the other bonehead drivers, but *sometimes* you can control whether your 24.3 minutes/day can become 22.3 minutes or 26.2 minutes, and you can *always* control whether those 24.3 minutes/day you spend communting are invested as opposed to wasted. Some glorious day, commutes may be a thing of the past but until then, this blog is dedicated to helping you rock your commute.
